How to Apply Iron-On Patches?
1. REMOVE THE PAPER
Peel off the paper backing from the patch. Keep the adhesive side facing down.
2. STRAIGHTEN THE FABRIC
Place the fabric flat. Remove any wrinkles with an iron before applying the patch.
3. PLACE THE PATCH
Place the patch in the desired position. Make sure it is straight and flat.
4. COVER WITH CLOTH
Place a thin cloth over the patch. This protects the patch and fabric from direct heat.
5. PRESS WITH IRON
Use medium to high heat and turn the steam off. Press firmly for 20–30 seconds through the cloth.
6. PATCH IS APPLIED
Remove the cloth and let the patch cool for a few minutes. Check the edges to make sure it is firmly attached.
